I was planning something like this but I do a lot of E6, so I have to take the film off the reel to stabilize them as the stab is not good for the reels (as I understand it)...

I too shoot mostly MF but have dabbled in some 4x5 here and there, opting for a rigid home made 4x5 point and shoot setup, although I do still have my big honking...

I dont let rain slow me down... I have shot seascapes with high wind, salt spray, rain... Makes for interesting photos usually..

Seascapes I tend to favor no rain, moderate high level clouds.

Bw chems in a tray i reuse once.. Fixer one shot. E6 chems get 4 runs or 3 weeks use, which ever comes first.
