Thanks Corran - Its a large steel spire that has been erected at the top of Kangaroo point cilffs in Brisbane city, Australia.

Thanks everyone.. Really appreciate it.
Jiri - I tend to feel that the 'not-velvia' appearance is half the appeal of these... Like you said, its rare these days to see a colour landscape,...
Heres my latest works..
These were my first outing with Kodak Ektar 100 loaded into the camera. I've never shot colour neg before, I always shoot either Fuji Velvia 50 or Fuji Acros 100. I must...
A note on this... I approached large format in a similar fashion.. I quickly learnt with the assistance of Boinzo, the word 'Quick' has no place in a large format (or medium format) shooters...
Dwarak Calayampundi - Hey mate, I'm the other end of the spectrum.. I start with a 4x5 (monolithic, heavy metal beast) and eventually moved to a roll film back, then sold that in favour of a 6x17...
Ripper image scm.
Outstanding colours, and tones.. great capture... Velvia really worked its magic in the greens and blues! :) Love it.
Good that you ordered some of those clips... I will say this.. Take care.. Even with those clips, I have overlapped films.. Its not impossible to do. Just make sure when you get the first roll in,...
Beautiful Preston. I like that the exposure was just short enough to maintain textured in the water flow... Really beautiful
Preston, Just to be annoying, I much preferred it as a vertical rather than the square crop... Gave it more depth I feel... Each to his or her own I guess.. Beautifully seen and captured none the less
Gary - Thats a ripper mate. :) I've just been getting a few of my images drum scanned prior to exhibition next year, as you say the difference is amazing. I've done 47~50" prints from my Microtek...
Scott - Thats beautiful.. I would have that on my wall! :)
thanks Jiri, Jim and Harley.

Great shots shailendra - how do you go with reciprocity out past 2 or 3 minutes with Acros 100? I've got 10 rolls coming for my 617, but the only info I can find thus far is "none up to 2 mins, add...
C4D - Agreed.. I reckon 60% of what I shoot on Velvia 50 gets binned, but the 40% that come out exactly as planned are by far the best shots I have.. Shooting a bit of Kodak Ektar 100 at the moment...
Sensational shot.. I love RVP50 on green hills with a CPL... Just beautiful.. A very nicely rendered scene.
I use the Tetenal E6 kit to develop transparencies at home.. The booklet that comes with the kit explains the process, and the processing tanks I bought came with instructions on how to load film...
I have walked 23miles through snake infested bushland to get to a waterfall, some of the trail is only 1ft wide with a good 100ft sheer drop off on the left and a cliff wall on the right.. when...
Good idea John...
I was planning something like this but I do a lot of E6, so I have to take the film off the reel to stabilize them as the stab is not good for the reels (as I understand it)...
I bought a full darkroom full of gear a few weeks back for $400 AUD...
4x5 enlarger, light box, 8x10 dev trays, 10 boxes of ilford paper, a few boxes of expired film, CPE2, drums, reels, etc etc...
Welcome from Brisbane mate.
I too shoot mostly MF but have dabbled in some 4x5 here and there, opting for a rigid home made 4x5 point and shoot setup, although I do still have my big honking...
I dont let rain slow me down... I have shot seascapes with high wind, salt spray, rain... Makes for interesting photos usually..
Seascapes I tend to favor no rain, moderate high level clouds.

Looks nice.. Gotta love home processing E6 don't ya.. :) Nothing says amazing quite like pulling a handful of trannies out of a tank... Beautiful feeling.
Bw chems in a tray i reuse once.. Fixer one shot. E6 chems get 4 runs or 3 weeks use, which ever comes first.
I use a microtek i900 and love it...
Heres a few old things...
I took this as part of my Fathers 60th birthday present.. I paid for him to be picked up in the old Buick, driven to the airfield and taken for a flight in the Tiger...
I am the same EOTS, I 90% of the time get a feeling when everything has gone right... I almost know that I got what I wanted. That wait between capturing a shot and developing can be agony. For me,...
EOTS - Those last two images from you were utterly sensational.. I would be blown away to have captured an image so beautiful.
Corran - i didn't filter it at all. This was facing north west in the afternoon. After we left i thought 'that would have looked better with a red or orange filter.. Next time.
Welcome to the forums!
I think a 90mm lens is where nearly every landscape photographer starts out in LF.
I love my 90mm, so much so that I built a home made 4x5 fixed focus camera around my...
Thanks Vaughn and Jonathan. I was out for the day shooting waterfalls with a few mates and between falls we came across this field and stopped the car in a real hurry... We all came home with very...
Ps. How do I post large images rather than the crappy little thumbnails..
Sensational image Preston.. Really lovely.

Every time I use a camera that has movements I will use tilts (front and back) swings (front and back) rise/fall (front and back) and shifts (front) wherever they are required. Almost every shot uses...
