    Re: Lets See Your Darkroom

You reminded me that I need to rearrange to use the full height of the Durst. The high bench it is on now limits print size. I am still not happy with the layout, and may go for the traditional wet...

  5. Re: 3d printing an 8x10 negative carrier for Epson scanners?

  6. Re: Building a 18x24 camera back and ground glass frame

At last I found some reasonable pictures of how the camera back works. The russian FDK camera is similar to mine. Though construction quality is worse.

But I can not make out how the film holder...

  12. Re: Building a 18x24 camera back and ground glass frame

Randy. I am tempted to search for another back, but it is kind of fun to build one. What I need is the dimentions of a cross section. I have found some mention that there was close to a standard on...
  13. Re: Building a 18x24 camera back and ground glass frame

Tracy, That would work for some of them. But all the screws arent vertical, and hence the heads are filed down at angles. I dont think there is any option but to sort the screws into their original...
  14. Re: Building a 18x24 camera back and ground glass frame

I just finished the first job.
The hinges for the bottom board had bent, making it difficult to crank out the rear standard, as a result a part of the rear standard guide has come off and the brass...
