    If you look at the link for tha AX specifications, it lists a shift of 7 mm each side, and beside that it lists a front bed shift of 40mm each side.

    Ok, that means that the circle of good definition for nikkon standards is only 235 mm, at f 22 and the same would apply for 154 mm at f8. Is this correct?

    I tried this things and yes, the shutter seems to be working fine, it opens and close the way it should in both B and T.
    the one second settings looks accurate (using my stop watch several times)....
