    I developed some c41 at room temp. specifically expired E3 and E4 ektachrome. but also some random recent c41 films I added to the run. Try 65-70 degrees, I bet you can go lower but would then...

    There shouldn't be much star movement at 15 seconds... It is more likely Coma towards the corners of the lens that is exacerbated by processing - especially since shot wide open.

    I) The beige towel has a greater capacity to throw light, as such it throws light in many directions and causes flare in the lens/camera/film. thus a brighter zone...
