Hi Folks
Anyone any experience of ADOX 100? I have rated it at 50 and giving it 12mins in Pyrocat HD at 70c - seems a little long. My timings for FP4+ are 11mins & HP5+ 12mins in Pyrocat HD at...

Hi Folks
Minor error with my wooden 5x7 in that one of the allen key bolts on the rear lateral locking arm came undone and I couldn't find it in the camera bag. Contacted Keith on the phone and...

Lovely tones Ray!

How much difference could one actually see between a scan from a flextight as opposed to a drum scan - how big would the print be to see it in real life as opposed to in theory?
Iain I could provide space/time in my darkroom - Blantyre - in exchange for the odd scan :)
Seem to have lost the plot - I see Baxter has already replied!
Wasn't Baxter Bradford offering a service for drum scanning?
Just checked his website: http://www.baxterbradford.com/ - indeed he is - comes across a nice guy - give him a shout!
Hi Phil

Another quick question! Have I read somewhere that you should use some sort of mesh between the film and tube to make the negs easier to insert and extract?
Cheers, Carl
Thanks for the input folks, I will probably take Mike up on hhis offer and them use Claude's info and the tubes to try and fabricate a couple more.
All the best, Carl
Hi Folks
looking for some plans to make BTZS type tubes for 5x7 film - can't seem to find ones pre-made. Anyone made any - shouldn't be too difficult if for someone as challenged as myself in the...
Another vote for Kerik - a tutor who is keen to share his knowledge rather than protect it! A very nice chap indeed! Just take a look at his website - I think it speaks for itself!
The Isle of Arran is good for a day or two and has much of what Scotland has to offer in a small package! West Coast is stunning but the East Coast fishing villages have lots to offer too!
Pallidium image made in the last couple of days just to play around with the 5x7 really! I think it is pretty simple?
All the best, Carl
