  1. Re: Does the gitzo GH2720QR head would be suitable for 4x5 camera

For 4x5 it would be good to be able to adjust each individual axis independently. I also vote for geared heads.

I have tried DXO & On one's Perfect Photo suite as well but I much prefer the way that Capture One develops files from raw.

Re: Whats the verdict on Adobe CC?

At this point I prefer owning the licence for PSCS. At some point I may start with CC.

BTW, Capture One Pro [CO8] is my go to software for 90% of my needs and then I finish up in PS. Also CO8 is...

Re: Sinar P2 front standard max load

You can find an F2 accessory standard , remove the 4x5 part and fix a wooden 1/2 circle padded cradle to it.. It now will support the weight and you can raise shift and tilt it.

Re: WTF I was just asking for help

The opposite can happen. Folks can try to take advantage of a newbie, and offer less than affair price.

We need to be candid on what a sample is worth. At least a low to high value.

    Randy,
It's not so much that I will need to upgrade machines, it is that I will have to when they say I have to.

At least with the older model I can wait until I am ready!!!!!!!

The main problem with subscription based software is that at some point an update will force an OS upgrade. If that is not feasible on an older machine then it forces one to buy a new machine.

Re: Several Soft Focus lenses compared

I think that the rounder aperture would be better with soft focus and out of focus highlights. If one were to be using a sharp lens for copying artwork it should not affect the image as much.
