Secondly, if I'm behind the camera focusing, how will i be in front of the camera to be focused on? Surely it is...

Although I'm probably going to try and develop something more along the lines of the second design, even in this one, I would have attached the shutter to the lens after focussing or not put the...

I'm sure you understand the question Will, but possibly not the reason why I ask the question, the answer to which is twofold.

Indeed, that's the bit i was getting stuck at. The more I've investigated the more it seems I'll have to make some sort of Packard shutter, it will probably be the simplest way.

Lovely image JP but you'd be surprised how still kids can be. In this one I got my then 7yo to pose for a 15sec exposure!

Ok, so it's a little fuzzy but that's what you get when you mix 3 & 1/2 year olds and half second exposures. The pose is all his own.

I think, don't quote me, but Harmon were supplied the emulsion by "Ilford Imaging " that went under. I believe they are trying to buy the rights to the emulsion. Like I said, don't quote me.

T0aster, those look wonderful. I love the clean simplicity of them and how relaxed the sitters look. Something for me to aim at!
