Well I managed to double check an old architecture book at uni today. It turns out it was Reinhart Wolf. I still cannot find the images anywhere on the web. But if anyone is really interested I will...
Thankyou Miguel, I think it very well could be him. I cannot find the image I was thinking of but his work is so similar it must be him.

Evening ladies and gents,
I wonder if anyone can help me remember the name of a certain photographer. The image I remember was a triptych. Three shots of the same building from the same angle....
Great portrait Christopher. There is something very disaproving about his glance which makes me feel uneasy. I like it though.
Thanks Andrew, I am trying to adapt the project and take it further. Maybe with new subjects, a slight tweak on the technique. Il see what I come up with....
:)
this image was shot on 5x4 gentleman. It is so shallow because of careful use of tilts with the front and rear standard. I don't have the exact No of degrees tilt. Lens was a 150 schneider at f5.6

Thanks for the kind comments so far.
The original idea was that because highways link cities and towns etc they could also 'link' pictures. The idea developed from there. I wanted to contact print...
Hi ladies and gents,
I wonder if you would be so kind as to look at the following images and pass comment on them. What do you like about them and what turns you off about them.
Thank you...
I expected it to take more exposure but not as much as what happened.
Evening all.
I want to create this image:

Originally I wanted to lay the 4x5 negs over one another and simply contact print...

They have an 8x10 in there at the moment....
With regards to the cold, I find it can be annoying when shooting polaroids to have to wait for up to 5 minutes for it to develop. In the 5 minutes gone by of course the light has changed. (sun...

Hey menacingtourist,
I like the crop you have created with your shots. I guess that makes it a 2x5?
How did you cover up half the lens so cleanly on the Brooklyn Bridge shot? Im guessing a dark...
Thanks csant. I always check the notches on the film and I'm usually pretty careful with film. I just wondered if one had slipped past me.
Thats also a good tip from Doremus Scudder with regards...
Hi guys,
I am currently working on triptych style images. I found on the latest one though that the images don't quite match in tone. I for one would find it quite useful if you guys could share...
I really like those details you have picked out Craig. The tones seem so 'industrial' too. Can I ask what film/transparencies you used?

This is part of a tram line study I did. Again it is just for research and to see what I can come up with. I did plan to go on the tracks, get low and use them as lead in lines but the trams were...
Thanks for the comments so far guys.
Toyon you are quite right in that transport obviously revolves around movement. It is something I am still working on. At the moment I am trying different...
Hi guys,
I am currently working on a transport project at school and I wanted a place to showcase my work so far. I hope this thread is appropriate. I will post up my pictures with my ideas, feel...
Thanks for your posts guys, Im starting to get to grips with this. I am still trying to figure out what works for me when it comes to shooting.

Hi guys,
I just wanted to confirm something,
If I am shooting with HP5 for example, I can only capture 5 zones of information. So I meter my scene and it has six zones. So I shoot for zone two....
Fantastic stuff Jim.
I managed to view the pictures via the link. There are some nice compositions in there. I am traveling to NYC this year. Unfortunately I wont be there to go to the exhibition. (Dec 4 to Jan 10...
I like to buy from the smaller retailer as opposed to a big name like Calumet. I find Calumet to be snobs frankly and unless your known to them they ignore you. Hey maybe its part of the application...
A test I did with Velvia 50.

I have Polaroids to double check composition and exposure. The only difference is the colour balance and iso.
I will also take my DSLR to triple check exposures.
A simple polaroid test from Thursday.

Hi guys,
I am still climbing the learning curve when it comes to Large Format photography. I have been to a location and took snap shots with my DSLR as part of some re-search. I would like to...
I have to agree, I really like the images especially the first one as it has a dreamy 'remember when...' feel to it. Real retro!:)
What a fabulously gritty portrait. An interesting background for an interesting character!:) :)
I think its pretty good, especially for a first shot.
An interesting composition might I add.
