Re: Curved back for panoramic camera

Pfsor — Thanks for the answer! Bent plexi is a great idea! As for the rest — I think that, like with a lot of applications: The reason why they're done a certain way is because it's probably the...

Re: Curved back for panoramic camera

Yes, that's about 100x more complex than what I had in mind. But if I can't use a fixed view lens to do this — That of solves it! Flat back it is.

    Curved back for panoramic camera

    Hello,

I'm toying with the idea to build a 4 x 10 panoramic camera with a pretty wide angle lens (Something like a 210mm).
And I was wondering if there's any idea to make the back curved? Would...

Got the helical yesterday. Looks and feels nice! Now just waiting for the grounding glass.

Think I'll build a wood version before spending loads of money on 3D printing. Or just something that...

    Re: Building my first camera...

    Re: Building my first camera...

    Thank you!

The biggest problem for me is that I can't start with just "easy" stuff. I always make it harder than it has to be. It's runs in the family.
My first plan was to just build a wooden...

    Re: Building my first camera...

    (First post for me! :))

I'm looking into building my first LF camera as well, and have the same ideas as you - A compact P&S with a 75mm. So I'd really like to know how your project comes along,...
