Thank you very much.
I made those photos before becoming acquainted with BTZS.
I was lucky to find the subject - which already had nice tones and textures. Using a spot meter, I read the value of the tires and on the "panels" of the car and exposed accordingly. 5x7 film and a good lens did the rest.

Stunning, but the 2nd one, surprisingly for a Ken Lee has a black and a paper white. It deserves a carefully chosen tone of carbon and a big empty wall where it can be seen on its own. Looks like a 5x6 too, and it does its inpirational forebearers justice.

We can relax the rules for a direct reflection of the Sun
If your prints fit readily available mats, people can purchase more prints, and spend less on custom framing.
The image size on "store-bought" 11x14 frames is actually 10.5 x 13.5 inches. On 5x7 film, a 1/2 inch strip of blue painters tape on each end of the ground glass will mask the image accordingly.

Another, this time all carbon transfers on Canson Montval. 5x7 Delta 100, 8 1/4 Dagor. From my favourite picture spot. I print 8 5x7's at a time on 2 A3 sheets so have to match them up and guess contrast, so they are not perfect.

Love the last one but need to print the final print with less contrast, 3% instead of 2%.
Re: Post Your Photo Essay
I generally don't shoot a bunch in one place with a 4x5 but I made these to test a Polaroid conversion that I was selling.

Very appropriate inscription on the wall.

Re: Post Your Photo Essay
patrickjames, I think that means your essay is on Polaroid conversions. And well done at that.
