Thanks to those of you who responded to my images.
Tom, I agree with your assessment, but chose to process them the way I did (and there was some subtle but important processing on all of them) to preserve somewhat the feel of each view. The second and fourth were more interior, so very evenly lit. I could have made them darker overall, but I liked the high key effect, which is faithful to the feeling I had when there. The steps in the first image were fairly brightly lit with filtered sunlight through some windows, and the middle portion of the third was lit brightly by some lights that can't be seen in the photo.

Bought a IR converted d800 on the forum here last year. I've been putting it to good use. Too hot and muggy to hike yesterday, so I sat on the porch, drank iced beverages, and made photos of the clouds, one of my favorite things to do with IR.
