I've checked the archives, and didn't come up with any recent threads on this - best I found was 2001. I'm assuming that things have probably changed some since then. So....
Any recommendations for a prolab in LA that can do a good job with 4x5 c-41? Someone who doesn't get the clips too far into the image would be nice ;-)

I would try A&I Labs. Check out www. AandI.com. They process C-41 @ 2.50/sheet and will contact print 4-up on an 11x14 for $8.50. Their customer service is good and I have not had a problem with hanger marks, etc. intruding into the image area.

My first choice would be Icon in Holly wood, I toured this lab a couple of years ago very good E6 line and C41 , next choice would be Fleshtone or Paris Labs, both highly recommended.

Another vote for A and I in Santa Monica (http://www.aandi.com/).
Another good one is Colortek on Jefferson Blvd. in Culver City. I've used both them and A&I...all are good.
