How long do you get to edit posts after posting?
The content of a post can be edited within 60 minutes.

Why the limit? I have post info to correct and can't...
The time limit on edits is intended to avoid situations in which people have responded to the original content of the post, only to have it changed later. Naturally, it helps to use the "Preview Post" button to re-check the original werding and/or speeeling. ;)Quote:

you can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time...
The bad thing about it is that I don't find a way to search for newly edited posts. Absent that, it becomes very difficult to monitor them to check for possible abuses. Most options are set conservatively for now--best not to blow all the doors open at the outset to avoid problems.
