From my Heavy Metal series
gandolfi - i love the second one, great homage. What kind of print is that?
bob - wonderful texture and brilliance. Same question, is that a silver print? Is that one of the series you were asking about a few weeks ago on apug, about bleaching before bleach/tone to get more brilliant highlights?
Thanks, guys!
thanks
I tried the bleach before toning, not really satisfied with what I got.
This one I boosted the contrast to grade 4, multiple toned.
Yes it is a silver print from negative.
Also have been beta testing the new Harmon silver rag and it really is going to be a killer paper.

uhh, ahh, now that I call a way to start the new year!
By now I'm scraping the barrel. An illustration 'in style' on 4x5 Ektachrome with a lot af stocking.
