Re: post alternative techniques
These two Collodion 5x7 photos were taken at John Coffer' Jamboree last weekend. Thanks to Eddie Gunks who supplied me with a loaner plate holder after mine had a dark slide freeze up. The model A truck is on black aluminum, and the wagon is on blue aluminum. Voightlander Euryscop lens on an 8x10 Ansco Universal Camera.
and oh yes, critiques and comments are accepted.

I like these Wayne. They almost look like miniature hot wheels to me (first one especially). Something about the perspective, can't really explain. Beautiful imo.

So why not just post it for him so the rest can see it easily?

Lovely texture in the trees!

Eh? There's no copyright issue with linking (or hotlinking) to someone else's image when full credit is given and the image is publicly viewable anyway. It's out there, it's free to view. I just included the same link in the post with the image tags that he meant to include.
But just in case Erik or anyone else didn't like it that way, I edited my post to wrap the image in quote tags showing him as the poster of it and with his original text. Essentially I just quoted his original post and replaced his URL with the one that works properly. That way it looks exactly like it would if I'd just quoted his post, except with the big blank white square replaced as he intended.
Re: post alternative techniques
..Whatever works for you . An image is an image and I do respect its right. No further discussion.

I respect copyright too.
But just in case he is bothered by it, I did write a PM to Erik to ask if he wanted that reply removed.
Re: post alternative techniques
Arguments aside, it's a beautiful picture.
Re: post alternative techniques
I think we all agree on that! :)
