Old time print shop in Urich, MO a friend of mine and I came across when we were out photographing many years ago.
The old guy who owned and ran the place must have been a hundred and looked very similar to his establishment.
I never got chance to print this before, the contrast would have been difficult to manage in the darkroom.
My friend Dave made some beautiful images here.

Yes and as I recall he had hand typesetting and a hot metal Linotype machine. In one area there had been a small fire, probably from the hot metal. I can't imagine how he got it put out with all the old paper and rags around, but he made no attempt to repair it he just moved everything still working over a bit. Very interesting place though.
