Best way to convert Berlebach tripod from 1/4 to 3/8 (for Sinar equipment)

You did ask for the "Best way...." which is what I answered above, and what I did with my own tripod. The cheapest way is to get a cheap adapter.

Ach! A 1/4 x 20 thread achieves plenty of torque, holding strength. Impressionism be darned.
