Re: What would be a good print scanner?
Also, I forgot Jorge that I have the same scanner (agfa 1200) and get good scans out of it with Vuescan. Agfa no longer supports their scanners with software etc, so I bought Vuescan as well.
Works fine for what I need it for.
I'd like an epson, but until this takes a dump, no reason to spend the money.
I have noticed your scans appear streaked, which doesn't do your work justice.
So hope you get it figured out.
I think no matter what hardware or software, you will need to spend a little time to tweak it to match the print as best you can.
Re: What would be a good print scanner?
Yeah some of the scan have streaks, these come from a brand new full retail price POS Hewlett PAckard.....needless to say I would never touch an HP product again..

Never mind guys, I decided to follow Ted's advice and give Silverfast a try, that solved the problem the scans come out pretty close to the prints so I bought the cheap version.
