decent, and an aid to the community.
Do I recall correctly that polaroid once made a similar device? hmm maybe that was just for their instant film.
I recall a Polaroid processor for some type of 35mm reversal film.
No, the Polaroid one was for their Polapan film only. But this appears to be a copy of the mid 20th century Agfa Rodinox 35 mm daylight film processing system. Although that one was 35mm and had a built in thermometer.
I used it with a one shot chemistry that had the fixer in the chemistry.
what a great idea!
whats old is new again, i have an old agfa 135 daylight processor the rodinaux U .. its black, plastic, and 405/50s cool.
it was similar to this. you had to jiggle the handle to agitate the film.
Pretty clever!
How do you get the sheet film into it?
The polaroid version basically pulled the film through the developing slime, you waited a few minutes, and wound it back through a squeegie I think. I haven't used one since 1994 when we used to make slideshows for professors; pre-powerpoint days.
This does look pretty practical generally speaking. I develop 3 rolls at a time, so it would not be a timesaver for me.
