I am very excited about the opportunity to share the incredible carbon printing process in Yosemite Valley, April 14 to 18, 2009! Tired of spending money on expensive Platinum or silver? Would you like to learn how to make full tonal-range prints with a raised relief out of Knox Unflavored Gelatin from the supermarket, some sugar and a little watercolor paint?

Carbon printing is one of our most permanent photographic processes. This will be a hands-on workshop where participants will have the opportunity to experience the process from the ground up. You will be able to fine tune both your negatives on photo sessions in the Valley, and the process in the darkroom. Upon your return home with some fine carbon prints, you will have the experience and knowledge to push the carbon printing process to express your personal vision.
