Omega Simtron II mounting help
Hello all!
I recently bought a practically new Omega Simtron II Color Analyzer.
Unfortunately, I do not have the little mounting "fork".
I would really appreciate if someone could send me a picture of exactly how the probe mounts under the lens.
I am quite handy, so rigging a mounting bracket will be easy for me, I just need to see one in action.
Thanks in advance.

SpeedGraphicMan, here's the Simtron II's mounting instructions for Omega enlargers (assuming that you are using the D2 shown in your profile). The only other mount and instructions in the manual are for the Beseler 23C. The mount I've got is was crudely and badly bent to fit who knows what but key dimensions for the slotted (forked) portion that holds the probe under the lens are: thickness 0.100" width overall 0.768" slot width 0.204" at tip tapering to 0.196" at the back (probably spec'd at 0.200") slot length 1.075" and overall length from the tip to mounting surface approximately 2.785" for this unit. Too bent for an accurate reading but the length would need to be adjusted for your mounting position and bracket. I hope this will help (and the attachment works).
