A processing lab?
Thanks to all of you who have adcvised me in getting back into large format afte r many years away. I just had the opportunity to try the Calumet 4x5 and the Ni kkor W 150 at Kilauea Volcano over the weekend. Shot some scenics and flowers with Agfa Optima 100 and some Ilford b&w too. The re is only one lab in Hawaii that does large format at $6.00 a pop for developin g and about 13.00 for an 8x10 contact print. I would like some alternatives for a lab since I still have to ship the negs anyway. I used to use Meisel in Texas years ago but don't know if they still do this. I noticel lots of digital work that they seem to specialize in now. They were by far one of the finest color labs around 25 years ago.

Try Ivey Seright (this is the one I use, I think E-6 is $1.60/sheet), EverColor Fine Art (Galand Rowel's choice), or Calypso Imagine.

A processing lab?
I'm based in Houston but if I were you and had to ship film to a lab the only lab I would consider is A&I in Los Angeles. A truly superior lab. I think their website is www.andi.com but I could be really wrong about that.
