Re: workshops in vermont/NH?
I live in the Albany area, and this is a real wasteland when it comes to LF photography.
There are a few practitioners around, but to my knowledge the workshop choice is limited to the Fine Focus series that Bruce, Richard and Ted run over in New Hampshire and an occasional workshop at Peters Valley Craft Center down in New Jersey.
Re: workshops in vermont/NH?
I believe David Middleton hosts workshops in VT. Not 100% sure if he is LF though. A respected photographer nonetheless.
Re: workshops in vermont/NH?
Hi DP,
Obviously we'd love to have you come to one of our workshops. However, if for one reason or another they don't work for you, you might want to contact Jon Lattimor (www.ejarts.com) or Frank Petronio on this list. Between them they can tell you what is going on around Rochester, NY. Rochester is, however, much farther from Albany than Brattleboro,VT where we base most of our activities and where most participants stay. Rochester is a good three + hours from Albany and Brattleboro is under two hours away (and a nice scenic drive over the mountains too :)).
Beyond that I am stumped too. Anything specific you are looking for beyond just a LF workshop?
Re: workshops in vermont/NH?
Dan Burkholder has recently moved to an area south of Albany, and has workshops. I'll be taking his digital negative/platinum printing workshop in August.

We're working on 2008 dates at the moment for our 2 1/2 day workshops in Vermont and New Hampshire. Albany is about 1 1/2 hours across Vermont from Brattleboro.
Ted was too shy to direct you to www.finefocusworkshops.com for details on what we offer.
Hope we see you!
