Scanner profiling with IT8 target

Hi all,

So, I just got an it8 target and want to profile my ScanMate F8+ (for some reason the scan softwares intenal targeting does only Kodak and Agfa, and I use Fuji... so I need to use an external profiler). I was recommended the Rough profiler from the fellow sending me the target (http://www.targets.coloraid.de). However, this seems to be an alpha version (its free)... and, even though I lived in Argentina for a couple of years... I dont really get computer Spanish. Does anyone use this profiler? Or can you recommend a profiler (free/not very expensive)?

By the way, I run this scanner using Windows XP so I need the software to work with that.

Maybe Lprof.

basICColor Input has a free 14 day trial you could use. It's a very good piece of software. I just wrote a guide to profiling using it in this section of the forum.
