Welcome aboard! If movements are what you're after, an old (cheap) monorail is worth considering. Crowns and speeders are lots of fun handheld :)

the articles on the main page were a big help when I started, that will give you an idea on the techniques involved in LF.
I second John Kasaian advice on getting an affordable monorail, there are plenty out there and if you can get a whole outfit you will save some $.
