Anthony and Scovill?

I'm new to LF. I just got my first camera about 3 months ago. A friend told me of a camera he got from his great aunt that had bellows that wouldn't extend. Of course I wanted to see it. It turned out that he just didn't realize that there were "hidden" latches on this. We got the thing working. The lens seems isn't the clearest but the sutter seems to fire OK. The ground glass has a crack all the way across but it's still very usable. The bellows show some wear in the outer layer but it seems to be light tight. I would like to try to get some images from this thing but the film holders that i have don't quite seem to form a good seal on the back.

Does anyone know enough about this camera to give us some advice?

a few detailed pics, would go miles/Kms towards assisting you in problem solving this matter.

Might be a plate camera. I don't remember when Anthony and Scovil became Ansco but it was a long time ago -)
