Report from the Eastern Sierra

I have been in the Eastern Sierra for 10 days. Started in Lone Pine and now in Lee Vining. Fall color is just starting, and should be good for the next couple weeks. Weather has been one day clear, calm and no clouds and the next day clouds, wind and better photography. Last year it was 10 days and I never saw a cloud.

Mono lake is about 3' lower than last year so Tufa shots are easier. Anyone coming here in the next couple weeks should have a great trip.

Cool..thanks for the update...there'll be about 25 of us there starting the 14th..hopefully good weather, definitely good times..

Headed up to Donner Pass next week. Can't wait… :D
