OpenSeadragon and VIPs software on Tumblr

If anyone would like to publish their large format images in a deep-zoom viewer (OpenSeadragon javascript software) I wrote a blog post which may be helpful.

The process is straightforward.
1. You create an image zoom collection from your large-resolution image.
2. You put them on a server (it's thousands of small image tiles/files).
3. OpenSeadragon is a Javascript library that allows the viewer to zoom in and out of your image
