Is the Van Dyke Sharper than the Kallitype?
I have been making Van Dykes and Kallitypes of the same negatives and have found the Van Dykes to be consistently sharper. My Van Dyke sensitizer is pretty aged having been mixed late last fall - probably in November - and the Kallitype was mixed within the last 30 days. HAs anyone else found the Van Dyke print to be sharper than the Kallitype?

Nope. But for me, I get a better range of tones with kallitype.

I've not noticed a difference in sharpness between the two except when using different papers. Like Andrew, I much prefer the kallitype, especially palladium toned.
