Publish Your Photos Here!
We're collecting photos from forum members to be published by Lulu.com
Frank Petrino has kindly offered to do the InDesign adjustments to the photos.
You too can submit your 8x10 scaned photo by sending it to fotosubmit@yahoo.com
To learn more about this project, check out this thread: http://www.largeformatphotography.in...ad.php?t=26126
If the email bounces, just send me a private message and I'll look into it.

More details:
There's no charge (unless you want to buy a copy of the book from Lulu.com after it is ready - I think the cost is about $20 or so)
B+W or Color submission is fine;
color space should be Adobe RGB (1998)
and the file should be a JPEG file not exceeding 3MB;
size should be 300 ppi for 8x10, at largest;
the file should either be named or tagged with the photographer's name and name of image;
Vertical shots will work best;
And submissions should go to fotosubmit@yahoo.com

I'd like to participate - are female nude studies acceptable?

What's the deadline; my scanner doesn't arrive until the end of June.
Is there an editor who will choose photos?

Everything legal in the US is acceptable. There's no editorial board. Its a wild and crazy artistic free-for-all!

No editor. No deadline. We go to print when we have 70-100 images. Thus far, in 36 hours, we have 10.
Re: Publish Your Photos Here!
Will a scan from an Epson 4990 be sufficient, do you think?

See what fun the this part is Cyrus? ;-)
Re: Publish Your Photos Here!
Wayne, assuming you are using any version of photoshop you can open the file, go to the 'image' dropdown menu, go to 'mode' and click on the 'convert to profile' selection. You can then ensure your image is in Adobe 1998 colorspace. I'm sure there's other ways, but that's one.
