Transient print display easel
Wasn't sure where this fit, so here it goes.
I want a display easel for my office/studio where I can set prints for display and evaluation. Framed and unframed, mounted and unmounted. Ansel Adams had something like this in one of his books. Prints would be on the easel for a period of time, and changed as conditions require it. A temporary exhibition space.
Does anyone have a DIY suggestion, or are commercial solutions available? I did some searching and didn't come up with much (useful) information. Thanks for all suggestions.

Any art supply store should have easels, both free standing and table top ones. Many frame shops should also have them as well as interior decorator galleries.

If you wanted something semi-permanent, and have some wood working tools (compound miter saw) you can build a display shelf and mount it to the wall. I find it very useful. I did one around the two walls of my studio area that looks very nice. There are also table top easels - I have one that is wood and two that are metal, and they sit on bureaus in bedrooms and living rooms.

Thanks Bob. I forgot to mention I want the display device hanging on the wall. Are these also to be found at art supply or framing shops?

Shouldn't be difficult to mount one to a wall. Go talk to a good frame shop.

Here's an option.

Another is to put a sheet of steel on your wall (such as galvanized or enameled) and use magnets.

Thanks Jason, that's clever.
Re: Transient print display easel
Home Depot has pressed industrial waste - Homosote - (light grey stuff, cheap, in 4x8 sheets). It makes a good backing for bulletin-board use. Cut a piece to the right size, get cheap fabric from JoAnn (light grey) and staple it to the board to make a nice surface. Then mount the board onto the wall with drywall screws.
Thumbtacks hold prints on the board, placing them so as not to make holes in the prints
Another piece just leans against the wall. And three more pieces are in the darkroom for putting up reference prints, development dilutions and times, etc.

that bar is neat, though I worry about how to remove the objects. the site isn't clear about that, though the claim to not jam.
I also like the steelbar and magnets option. Another variant of this is magnetized paint on a surface / wall and magnets can go anywhere, not just on the bar.
