I like these two, specially the second one for the graphic line pattern. For that effect I do believe the depth of field is spot-on. I also like the first one, but to be honest the first thing I see is not the texture nor the rocks, but the shadow. The shadow has the shape of a lion head with the mouth slightly open. Because it is what stands out for me I then have to make an effort to look for the textures and forms. It works nice though.

First time posting pictures here. I hope this works. This is along the McKenzie river, that I took a few years ago. Taken with 4x5 velvia, 210 mm Schneider lens.

Beautiful image of the beach,have you used the gratuated ND filter? Or was a stormy sky?

Thanks, there was a huge bank of cloud and the sun went into it so it was pretty much like that though I did use a 3 stop ND filter to balance it out as the highlights were more than +5
