Thanks, Harley. It's a floor lamp in our living room with a sunlit Roman shade behind it. This lamp is another one of those subjects I've photographed countless times and probably will again.

Good for you for getting a record of the street art before it vanished. I bet we all have places we've thought about photographing but waited too long and now they're gone forever. I've only lived in Portland 12 years and already I have missed countless opportunities because I thought, "I'll get back here to photograph this....someday." Whoops.

This is a small section of an enormous mat of dead trees that has been floating on Spirit Lake ever since the volcanic eruption in 1980.
