My home breed 4x10. Doesn't have a pro-look but it works and very light, less than 4 lbs.
Re: Show off your camera!
Hey that looks great! Do you have any more shots of it? What did you do for the back?
Re: Show off your camera!
What a fabulous looking camera, great job and less than 4lbs too.......thats next to nothing!
Re: Show off your camera!
Thanks, Colin and Kev. Colin: will have more photos tomorrow to show you the back.
Re: Show off your camera!
Hi Asher,
Here is a link to all it's movements. I'm not being glib, I just could never do justice to all the camera can do by trying to list here by myself. Suffice it to say it is by far more camera than I am photographer. It's a strange story how I came to order one of these that I won't go into here but its somewhere here in the archives.

As to lenses I have four--
a 30 inch Dallmeyer RR
a giant Jarmin Darlot that weighs about 13 lbs
a 1000 mm Germonar (sp)
and the one I am going to have my two children 'study' instead of a liberal arts education--550 Schneider XXL Fine Arts Lens.
All of this was purchased with found money that has long since disappeared and I have to feed this beast on my own dime. No small task. When it works though it'll light your face up. Rare occasion with my skill.
Here are a couple of more pics. Sorry I don't have more.
If you're ever down in the Southeast around the Carolina's drop a line and play around with it!!
best,
Monty

We would love to see much more of this special machine! What movements does it have and what lens did you invest in to match that class of ocean liner!

something to keep in mind I guess! I've never really owned a light weight tripod, maybe I should have checked out my 4x5 on your tripod! :)

Asher,
I had it made for me in China. It was made around a DaYi 6x17 film back.
About 320mm bellows, front tilt/swing/shift. Rear swing/tilt/rise.
