Kodak contact printing paper Type IX.
Hi all,
I'm new here on this full of very useful informations forum!
I just got a few boxes of Kodak contact printing paper Type IX (expired: 1955)...military stuff it seems...
It's single weight (a little stiffer than what i'm used to) and the back of the paper is a bit shinny (like if it's coated with wax or something?).
The paper is wrapped with usual black paper enveloppe inside some thick foil (lead to prevent fogging?).
Anyway, i haven't found any informations about this paper yet and maybe some of you encountered it at some point?
Is this unbranded AZO paper?
I tested it today and it's perfectly fine and look like AZO to me, rich deep blueish black.
Thanks for any infos!
Eric

Re: Kodak contact printing paper Type IX.
My guess is Velox. Very popular in the '60's when I started printing.
