The manufacturer's data sheet for Fuji Neopan Acros 100 recommends fixation in Fijifix (an acid hardening fixer) for 10 minutes. This seems like quite a long time (about twice that needed for other B&W films with Kodafix). Is there something special about this film that makes it require such long fixation? How long do you recommend fixation of this film when using Kodafix? Thanks in advance, Rob Gertler

I would think the old rule of twice the time it takes to clear would be a safe bet. Do a snip test, or use a sheet to check (in daylight) how long it takes to clear, and double that time. Old information but it has worked for me over the years, with many fixers.
