View Full Version : Is This a Meter or Probe for the Sinar Metered Back?

I have no idea what this part is. It is part of the Sinar F2 camera pack with auto shutter and metered back. If yes, how it is used?

That is all I can do. Somebody sent this to me. It is close to the Sinar auto shutter with a bunch of cables.

I can't be sure from this picture, but it could be the thing that holds the meter body on the side of the rear standard. The probe would have plugged into the meter body with about a 12" cable, and then the probe itself would be inserted through the probe opening and light trap on the metering back.

Yep, meter holder plate for a Minolta meter. Broncolor holders look kind of like a fish hook/vise, and Gossen holders are about the same footprint as the meter itself and have a little chrome lock mechanism on them.
