Would anyone know the outer thread diameter for the Schneider / Linhof 90mm F6.8 lens. I'm looking to have a rear lens cap manufactured by S K Grimes. I was hoping that they might know the answer because the lens is quite common, but they have asked me to provide the information. Can anyone help?

Why not just use a Kaiser push-on cap? The least expensive one, 15mm, is $6.60 list and the most expensive one, 120mm, is $13.50 list.

The 90mm f6.8 Angulon does not use a push on cap on the rear. It uses a small metal threaded cap that srews into the rear of the lens. I don't have mine in front of me, but I believe the thread size is something like 32.5mm. If possible, I think the best course of action would be to send the lens to the shop to insure a proper fit.

Kerry is correct. I have screw-in metal caps for both my Linhof 65mm and 90mm Angulons. The inside screw diameter of the 90mm appears to be app. 26mm and its outer diameter of the outer lip of the cap is app. 30mm. The cap screws into the back of the lens--26mm.
