Check out the photos for a clear example of how to make an 8x10 Sinar Norma as compact as possible.

Just a PSA, not a for sale post: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sinar-Norma-8x10-Classic-Camera-/140738290835?pt=Film_Cameras&hash=item20c4a7e493#ht_678wt_1398

As an aside, the amount of tape on that camera is bizarre... you'd have to soak and reassemble every part, a week's work. No way things aren't all gummy and sticky.

Good illustration. Normas fold and travel very well. Ps and P2s need to be fully disassembled to be compact, and even then they are ridiculously heavy. Using an F just isn't the same in my eyes (build and movements),

Normas with all their precise movements and solid aluminium construction are remarkably sleek and lightweight. Just wish someone would pay me to shoot something outside the studio for once so I had an excuse to keep mine :(

I almost bought that camera for a spare...then remembered how much fun tearing apart and cleaning mine was. Thinking maybe they had done the tape to reduce reflection from sun for some reason? Looks like every shiny surface is either covered or was covered. It does pack down pretty compactly.

Hell No! To 8x10 in general -- it is too damn expensive and (I am) clumsy -- and to that particularly tacky camera (clean Normas are great 8x10s).
