Hello all, I am thinking about putting some finish down on my Deardorff spring back where the film holders go in and out. It's gotten use over the years and some of the finish is gone off the wood part that holds the film holder. I wanted to inquire if it would be fine to just coat that unfinished part of the back and let it sit for awhile and be good to go again. Eventually I'm going to purchase a brand new spring back, but I wanted to clean up the original back just a tad.
