PSA: Epson 4900 on Sale

Just got an email from Atlex, they've got 4900s for $1500 plus free shipping. Wish I'd waited instead of grabbing the 3880!

Thanks. But why do you wish you had waited? I ask because I may be selling my 3800 and was planning to buy the 3880. What's the big advantage of the 4900 vs the 3880 considering both are 17" printers?

The features I'd like are the HDR inkset (adds orange and green) and better feed mechanism. I wasn't willing to pay $1000 more for them, but I'd pay $300 more.

Thanks. The better feed mechanism would be nice - I've never had a serious problem but every now and then my 3800 balks at feeding the paper and I have to help it along by hand. Not so sure about the value of two more colors for me.
