I saw one member here say that he could not use shorter than 120 without getting the bed in the frame with his 5x8 Chamonix convertible.

Can anyone comment on the 5x7 and 8x10?

Are the 110xl and 150xl fully useable in both landscape and portrait orientations without the bed showing. Min extension is clearly OK looking at the specs.

What abou bag bellows? I see the 5x4 has a new universal bellows, but where have users found the need for bag bellows on these cameras?

This will answer the final questions I have on these very appealing cameras....

I can focus a 90mm in an 11mm recessed lens board on my Chamonix 8x10 with a 5x7 back.
No experience with the 110ssxl but if not careful you can get the bed in the frame with a 120SW Nikon. The 150ssxl is not a problem.
Contact Hugo Zhang, i am sure he can get you a bag bellows, i bought a bag bellows for my 8x10 (in addition to the camera) from him.

OK, perfect. Sounds like the 110xl on the 5x7 and the 150xl on the 8x10 are both fine.

It does seem odd then that the user of the 5x8 chamonix convertible complained of the bed showing with anything shorter than 120 on that camera.
