Is there anyone who's using a epson 7600 on windows 7 64Bit?

Can't find a driver for it. tried to use the vista 64 driver, but as soon as i start a print i get "communcation error" on the printer.
It's not a hardware problem as the printer works perfect while using Quad tone rip

No problems here-just used whatever newest driver was on the Epson site.

I use windows7-64 and couldn't get it to work either, Epson doesn't make win-7 drivers for it, and like the OP, I couldn't get it to go with the vista driver.

Solution : I have an old XP machine sitting right beside the new computer just for printing to the Epson.

I tried getting my 9600 to work on Vista and Windows7, no luck. I am doing what jp498 is doing, I'm using a dedicated XP machine as a print server.

I did have the same problem for a while the Vista 64 bits driver will work just fine but you need to install epson Status Monitor and voila! :)

You need to set up a Virtual drive using Oracle VM Virtual Box... has various downloads for the machine you have... then you download your XP on that. Then go from there.
