So which 180mm 5.6 multi-coated will cover 8x10 at a close almost macro distance? I have under $600 to spend. Thanks in advance.

cover or cover sharp...

no matter--anything will cover if you get close enough---no kidding...

just get one that's more symmetical if you're close to 1:1....

best is probably the 190 wide field ektar--it's designed for up close....

but any 180 that covers 4x5 will cover 8x10 at 1:1...any that covers 5x7 (which is all of them I think) will cover at smaller magnifications than that...just get zee cheepest one then....

or if you want sharp, get the WF ektar or a 180 or so process lens--those are probably zee cheepest
