Where to get them from?
Do any of you fellows know the source of spare parts for those epson scanners in the UK, or elswhere?
I will appreciate any hint.

Contacted and talked to.
But sadly, they do not ship their things outside US country due to their epson`s contract policy.

Did you inquire about a Euro distributor? Epson may be able to direct you as well with an email inquiry.

I use a Umax 4x5 holder in my 4990. It's built better and is more sturdy than the Epson holder. I don't know about buying from Poland but if I were buying one I'd go here:

You might also try a “homemade” holder – the one I use is better than the Epson holder that came with my 4990.

Even if you’re committed to Epson holders, you can make a holder of your own while you search, order & wait for replacements.

You can simply use a piece of store-bought, anti-glare glass, tape the film to its underside, and use various things to support the glass (and adjust its height) above the scanner’s surface – post-it note pads, pennies, etc.

If you try this, you might like it, and decide to cancel that order!
