Hi,

My splendid wife has me booked for 3 days of no responsibilities during the last weekend of November for my birthday. I will be based right by Halifax Harbour. My basic plan is to just walk and look for pictures from dawn to dusk. I want to keep the plans loose but at least moving towards a general direction.

For those that know the Halifax area, are there any areas ripe with photo opportunities along the harbor or areas to avoid?

I may spend a day at McNab Island but that is not set in stone yet. I am really not expecting much, just going to see what I see. Any tips, tricks or thoughts would be appreciated.

Historic Properties and up along Barrington St would be good for architectural photography. Point Pleasant Park and the Public Gardens are very nice as well. The downtown area is having a late fall so there are still leaves on the trees. Also the Larch trees are a beautiful yellow.
