Here is a lightweight custom made and modified Polaroid 900 camera in the 4x5 format, takes any film holder intended for a 4x5 format camera, most holders securely slip in under the ground glass spring back.

You select and supply your favorite lens for this camera, price does not include a lens.

Use the coupled parrallax corrected brightframe combined rangefinder view finder focus or the ground glass.

This 900 4x5 camera model shown is equipped with a 135mm f3.5 Schneider Xenotar lens, This model is also modified for Close Focus, Why Close Focus? When you mount a 135mm or 150mm lens to these cameras you can only focus to 5 feet, this camera is modified for 34 inches of which make for excellent portraits. The Schneider Xenotar is known for its exceptional sharpness and speed.

Please Note, The Schneider 135mm f3.5 lens shown is NOT INCLUDED, it is up to you to supply a suitable lens for this camera, you can also obtain a 150mm Schneider Xenar, Symmar, Rodenstock Geronar, Sironar, Caltar, Nikkor, Zeiss, Fujinon, lenses from 105mm to 150mm will work as long as they only measure up to 2 1/4" in overal length. The 150mm f2.8 Xenotar will not work.

These physically large and long lenses will fold up into the camera without the need to unscrew the front lens element group like other conversions, Exclusive feature from Alpenhause.

This is a "Your Choice Of Lens" fitted type of sale, you must find a suitable lens to send to me after purchasing the conversion, please pay for the conversion and then send a lens to me to be fitted, "Waiting" and "Later" I am so not interested in until after payment has been made. Most lenses mentioned earlier can easily be found on ebay and www.KEH.com for under $300 with the exception of the 135mm Xenotar. I will be happy to assist you in finding a suitable lens and you can expect expedient, competent and aggressive searching for a great lens at a great price after you have paid for the conversion, leads will be sent to you for your approval and purchase.

Super tight profile anodized custom 4x5 back specifically designed and constructed for these Polaroid 110, 110B and 900 cameras, look at other 4x5 conversions, they have these huge backs salvaged from Speed Graphics, Graflexes and other huge view cameras, they stick out an inch underneath and an inch over behind the top of other 4x5 Polaroid conversions.

Many other custom lenses can be fitted as well along with other custom colors and leather coverings, just inquire.

We don't allow dealers or other commercial advertizing here - but we also try to support the good people who make Large Format possible :)

So I am changing the title of the thread a little, and moving it to the Announcements section.

Anyone reading this may want to take a look at my post here showing what Steven's Alpenhause is capable of (http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showpost.php?p=793340&postcount=12), when paired with a Xenotar 135/3.5.
