Every cold light printer's hero, Louise Kessler wrote today to say they are going to make a run of V54 tubes for the Durst 5x7.

Now is the time fellow Durst 138 users!!

Cool! Or should I say, cold. Wish they'd run a batch of the 12" high output V54 lamps for the 8X10 rig. Be nice to have a spare, just in case. Guess I should call them.

They seem to be going in order of demand,
you really should register your interest asap.
Anyone who owns a 1212, 1414 head etc that wants a V45 tube should write her.

So, does anyone have have a picture of an actual D57-LO-V54 tube that they'd be willing to share?

Apparently, the new Aristo tubes are designed to fit the Aristo D57 cold light head, but I have the Aristo LACOLI/LACOTRA light/transformer combination for my Durst 5x7. I'd like to order one of the new tubes, but it's not clear whether the D57 tubes are actually compatible with the LACOLI.

Thanks,
