Ive searched on the forums and the feeling is that the Nikkor 150 is sharper than the 135mm and some people who have used it, do not like this lens.

Is the 150mm that much better?

What are your feelings about this lens?

I liked mine. Small, sharp, good contrast. Not too much room for movements though. I paid about 110 euro for a mint one.

There is more sample variation betweens lenses of same focal length than between the different focal lenghts. I have owned a 135 Nikkor that was sharp as anything at that FL.

Just pick a "good" one. Holds true for other brands as well!

I own both of those lenses and have been using them on my 4x5 cameras for many years.

They are excellent lenses, equally bright and sharp. Both take 52mm screw-in filters.

The 150 is 30 gms heavier and has 10 more millimeters of image circle. However, when looking at them side by side (mounted in Copal 0 shutters), it's difficult to tell them apart. I usually need to remove the front lens cap in order to read the actual focal length to determine whether I have selected the 135 or the 150.
