A new 4x5 user (I'm mostly a Leica guy). Plenty of flaws, but lots of fun with my partially broken Crown Graphic (found a new yoke for the focusing rack; still needs the RF fixed, but I can live without it for now using the GG). My processing technique could stand some improvement; first tank or two, I folding my tacos inside-out, put hair ties across the emulsion (live and learn). Way to much contrast in these (Arista 100 EDU in 1+25 rodinal at 3.5 minutes); maybe some over-agitation made that worse.

My dumb, but lovable dog (one of three) wouldn't sit for his portrait, so I captured him lurking in the shadows. Spots are probably from sloppy fixing.

Comments welcome, but if they're unkind, I may cry all day and hide under the bed, so be careful.;)

Welcome to group therapy! The mistakes get fewer with practice, until you get really confident...then you blow a REALLY IMPORTANT shot! :)

Thanks Vick. I'm already good at blowing unimportant shots, so I'm halfway to my ultimate level of incompetence. At least I'm having fun. Glad I started with some cheap film.
